  349. ===== Installation =====================================
  350.  
  351. The installation procedure for NuMorse is quite simple.  The
  352. package includes a program, "INSTALL.EXE", which automates the
  353. entire process.  You will need about 2Mbytes of available disk space
  354. on the hard drive on which you plan to install NuMorse.
  355.  
  356. The exact steps you need to take will depend on how you received
  357. NuMorse.
  358.  
  359. IMPORTANT NOTE
  360.  
  361. You must use INSTALL to transfer the files from the installation disk,
  362. do NOT use COPY. This is because the files have been compressed to fit
  363. them on the  distribution disk and will not be useable in compressed
  364. form. INSTALL automatically  expands them as it copies them to your
  365. working directory.
  366.  
  367. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  368.  
  369. To install from diskette(s), you need to perform the following steps.
  370.  
  371.    o  Place the NuMorse distribution diskette in the
  372.       appropriate diskette drive.
  373.  
  374.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program on the distribution diskette
  375.       using File Manager or Program manager in the usual way.
  376.  
  377.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.
  378.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any changes
  379.       are actually made to the contents of your hard drive.  The
  380.       program will ask you for a destination directory and will copy
  381.       the NuMorse files to that directory. If you so direct it, the
  382.       installation program will install executable programs and
  383.       documentation in other directories of your choice. It will not
  384.       modify your autoexec.bat or config.sys files.
  385.

  387. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  388.  
  389. If you downloaded NuMorse from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  390. archive files from some other source), you will need to perform the
  391. following steps.
  392.  
  393.    o  Extract the contents of the archive file in a temporary
  394.       directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for doing this
  395.       varies, depending on the form in which you received the package.
  396.       In all likelihood, the fact that you are reading this text means
  397.       that you already have the necessary tools and knowledge to
  398.       perform this step.  If not, you should be able to obtain
  399.       directions for this from the same source from which you
  400.       received the package.
  401.  
  402.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.EXE" program in the temporary directory
  403.       using File Manager or Program manager in the usual way.
  404.       You will have a chance to approve installation before any

  421. program group in Program Manager. You should consult the document
  422. MORSE.WRI which has been installed. Do this by double clicking on
